Girls Found Dead in Freezer Identified

Thanks to Montgomery County detectives, the two girls found in a freezer in Calvert County, have both been tentatively identified.

The two girls have been identified as Renee Bowman's two unaccounted for adopted daughters, Jasmine Nicole Bowman, who would be 9, and Minnet Cecila Bowman, who would be 11. According to detectives, an undisclosed family friend assisted in the identification process.

Montgomery authorities have stated that the match "does not meet the standards for official identification established by the Medical Examiner's Office", however, they do not intend for the results to change after the tests are completed.

The bodies of the two girls were discovered in Calvert County, however, officials believe the girls were killed while living with Bowman in Montgomery County.

Bowman still remains held in Calvert without bond on the child abuse and assault charges in relation to the other daughter discovered by neighbors. Detectives are still trying to piece together a timeline of where and when the girls were last seen alive.
