YESTERDAY, WHILE SEARCHING THE APARTMENT OF THE MOTORIST WHO SHOT THE ALEXANDRIA POLICE OFFICER TUESDAY NIGHT AND THEN KILLED HIMSELF, ARLINGTON COUNTY POLICE FOUND THE BODY OF THE HIS WIFE BEHIND THE BULLET RIDDLED DOOR OF A CLOSET.
AUTHORITIES SUSPECT THAT THE DECEASED MOTORIST, ROBERT K. HUI, 22, SHOT HIS WIFE, SARAH TEDROP, 19, TO DEATH BETWEEN MONDAY AND TUESDAY NIGHT. SOME TIME LAST MONTH, POLICE WERE CALLED TO THE SAME ADDRESS FOR A DOMESTIC DISPUTE. ACCORDING TO COURT RECORDS, THIS WAS ALSO THE TIME THAT THEY LEARNED HUI HAD "MULTIPLE FIREARMS" IN THE HOME.
HUI IS THE MOTORIST RESPONSIBLE FOR SHOOTING ALEXANDRIA OFFICER KYLE RUSSEL DURING A ROUTINE TRAFFIC STOP TUESDAY NIGHT, WHICH IN TURN CAUSED THE SHUT DOWN OF ONE OF NORTHERN VIRGINIA'S MAIN TRAFFIC ARTERIES, I-395.
ACCORDING TO REPORTS, HUI SHOT HIMSELF IN THE HEAD ABOUT TWO MILES NORTH OF WHERE HE WAS PULLED OVER AND WAS FOUND IN HIS LEXUS SPORT-UTILITY NEAR THE 14TH STREET BRIDGE.
