ON YESTERDAY IN VIRGINIA, A 6 YEAR OLD BOY DROVE HIS MOM'S FORD TAURUS FOR MORE THAN 10 MILES AFTER MISSING HIS SCHOOL BUS.
THE CAR CAME TO A STOP AFTER THE CHILD SLAMMED IT INTO A UTILITY POLE ALONG NORTHUMBERLAND HIGHWAY. AFTER THE INCIDENT THE BOY'S PARENTS WERE ARRESTED AND CHARGED WITH FELONY CHILD ENDANGERMENT.
ACCORDING TO AUTHORITIES, THE FATHER, DAVID DODSON WAS UNDER A COURT ORDER NOT TO LEAVE THE 6 YEAR OLD OR HIS 4 YEAR OLD BROTHER ALONE WITH THEIR MOTHER, JACQULYN WALTMAN.
THE BOY MADE IT ACROSS A BRIDGE AND TWO INTERSECTIONS, ALL WHILE NOT WEARING A SEAT BELT. THE BOY ONLY SUFFERED MINOR INJURIES AND STILL MADE IT TO CLASS AT NORTHUMBERLAND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.
