THE WASHINGTON WIZARDS ORGANIZATIONS BREAKS TIES WITH FORMER HEAD COACH AND D.C. NATIVE EDDIE JORDAN, AFTER A 1-10 START...
ANOTHER HORRIBLE DECISION BY THE WIZARDS, IF I MUST SAY SO MYSELF! I WILL GIVE YOU THREE REASONS WHY,
ONE, FOR THE PAST 3 OR 4 YEARS JORDAN HAS KEPT THIS INJURY DEPLETED TEAM IN THE PLAYOFFS YEAR AFTER YEAR.
SECONDLY, PERHAPS THEIR BEST OR "FAVORITE PLAYER," GILBERT ARENAS IS LOOKING AT A 3-4 MONTH INJURY. OH YEA, ARENAS WAS AN ALL-STAR/MVP CANDIDATE BY THE WAY...
THIRDLY, THEIR STARTING CENTER BRENNAN HAYWOOD, WHO CAME OFF HIS BEST SEASON IN THE NBA YET, IS INJURED AND HAS YET TO PLAY THIS SEASON!
I MEAN I DON'T THINK YOU CAN BLAME THE 1-10 START COMPLETELY ON THE COACH IN THIS INSTANCE. JORDAN IS A PROVEN WINNER, AND HE HAS BEEN THEIR FOR ABOUT 4 YEARS I THINK. THIS SEASON THE WIZARDS HAVE LOST ALMOST EVERY GAME THE SAME WAY...IN THE 4TH QUARTER. AT SOME POINT THE PLAYERS HAVE TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE.
LAST THOUGHTS
I THINK IF THE WIZARDS DIDN'T MOVE TO THE 2ND ROUND THIS SEASON, IT WOULD BE TIME TO CALL IT QUITS WITH JORDAN, BUT I WOULD ALSO SEND AWAY PLAYERS SUCH AS ETAN THOMAS, DARIUS SONGALIA, DESHAWN STEVENSON, AND ANTONIO DANIELS. THESE PLAYERS ARE GREAT IN THEIR OWN RIGHT, BUT I DONT THINK THEY COMPLIMENTED THE YOUNG AND QUICK ROSTER THAT WE HAVE.
