THIS MORNING WAS STARTED WITH YET ANOTHER METRO INCIDENT. THIS TIME IT WAS THE RESULT OF A FIGHT.
THIS MORNING WAS STARTED WITH YET ANOTHER METRO INCIDENT. THIS TIME IT WAS THE RESULT OF A FIGHT.
A MAN WAS TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL SUFFERING INJURIES TO HIS HEAD AND ARM THAT HE RECEIVED AFTER BEING PUSHED INTO THE SIDE OF AN ONCOMING TRAIN. ACCORDING TO AUTHORITIES, TWO MEN GOT INTO AN ALTERCATION ABOUT 6:40 THIS MORNING, A FIGHT ENSUED WHILE WAITING ON THE PLATFORM, AND THE MAN WAS PUSHED.
POLICE SAY THE VICTIM'S INJURIES ARE NOT LIFE THREATENING AND THE INCIDENT HAS NOT AFFECTED TRAIN SERVICE. AUTHORITIES SAY THE TWO MEN WERE AT THE GALLERY PLACE METRO STATION ON THE SIDE OF THE GREEN LINE TRAINS GOING IN THE DIRECTION OF BRANCH AVE.
